Getting Started with AutoDetect
AutoDetect is our AI-detection and plagiarism detection toolset. AutoDetect is certainly not 100% accurate, although we are constantly improving. False positives and false negatives will regularly occur.
Simply copy and paste your content into AutoDetect, and click on Validate Content:
After the report is finished loading, it provides Human Signal and AI Signal scores, as well as a Plagiarism report:
The scores indicate the percentage chance that the content was created by either a human, or by generative-AI. For the most accurate results, please provide content that is 500 words long or longer.
If the AI Signal score is at least 70%, you can ask the tool to highlight AI-generated content at a sentence level. This is helpful for flagging AI within a larger piece of content. That being said, scoring on a sentence level won't be as accurate as scoring for an entire article:
In short, our toolset looks for the sequences of words or phrases that an AI writing tool would use but that a human would be unlikely to use. Our scoring is not 100% accurate by any means, and it should be taken with a grain of salt.
If the toolset has identified plagiarism, you will see the Plagiarism reports from Copyscape below the scores:
Click into a Copyscape report to see what has been plagiarized:
Copyscape will highlight plagiarized or matching text and provide an overall estimate of the percentage of the document that appears duplicative.
